So, you're taking that mandatory history course from your college's regular education requirements and your teacher gives you a 300+ page book to read in one week (my didn't do that for the record...I knew about this the entire semester). Well, I have to read A Rumor of War by, Phillip Caputo in order to understand the Vietnam War from the perspective of a soldier and a reporter (Phillip Caputo is both).
So far, I am enjoying the book. I am currently at page 19, and there are 337. I have to have this book read by 10:50am 03/21/13, and it's currently 6:09pm 03/20/13. I've read romance novels in way less time! However, that doesn't require too much comprehension, retaining of information, etc. This is what motivated me to create this blog. I knew that I couldn't just speed read without taking any notes, so here goes! (actually it goes in my next post where I'll be discussing the Prologue and Chapter 1).
